MetaCoder enables wireless transmission of camera metadata with zero latency. By placing MetaCoder between the camera and the transmitter, metadata is preserved, allowing systems like QTAKE to access this critical information as if they were directly connected to the camera via SDI.

Digital cinema cameras use the ancillary data space of the SDI signal to output timecode, record flags, filenames, and other valuable metadata. Unfortunately, most wireless systems do not transmit this part of the SDI signal. Additionally, many image processing devices — such as LUT boxes — can strip SDI metadata as well. MetaCoder solves this problem by processing and embedding the metadata in a way that preserves it, regardless of the wireless transmitter used. Simply place MetaCoder in the signal chain between the camera and the transmitter, and you’re good to go!
